Laser Hair Removal

We use two different lasers to perform our laser hair removal:

The GentleLASE- an Alexandrite laser that is used to remove unwanted hair on those individuals with lighter skin and dark hair. The GentleLASE has been used for years and has great results.
The Palomar Starlux- using the R or Y handpiece, this device can be used on lighter skin pigment or darker pigment with the R handpiece. This machine performs a quicker treatment, due to its larger handpiece, with an effective outcome.

With either laser, it usually takes 6-8 treatments to achieve the best hair reduction. Treatments are spaced anywhere form 4-12 weeks apart depending on what site is being treated. You would want to come in for your appointment shaved in the areas you wish to have treated. It is important to not tweeze, wax, or pluck at least two weeks prior to your treatment. After your treatment, it usually takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks for the dead hairs to push out of the follicle. You will be hair free for a short time, and then you will return for your next treatment at the appropriate time.

Spider Vein Therapy
The Aura laser is used to remove unwanted spider veins on the legs, and we use the Palomar for facial veins and broken capillaries. To reach adequate results on the legs, a series of 3-5 treatments is usually needed. For the face the Starlux system is used. In some cases, unwanted veins will be gone just after one treatment!

Photorejuvenation
Our photorejuvenation process provides the most skin-safe, comfortable, and effective photofacials available, with little to no downtime. Photorejuvenation appointments are quick, and you can return to work or other activities looking and feeling great! Photorevjuvenation is used to treat sundamage on the face, neck, chest, and other areas. As well as, rosacea, and spider veins on the face.

Non-Ablative Fractional Resurfacing
This non-invasive procedure is done with the 1540 laser handpiece of the Starlux System. This works by stimulating collagen formation within the dermis. This new collagen gradually reduces and softens wrinkles and gives the skin a younger and fresher look. This technology is also used to treat scars and stretch marks. It requires a series of treatments once a month for three months for collagen rejuvenation, more treatments maybe be required for scars and stretch marks.

Microdermabrasion
Through the use of gentle abrasive crystals combined with mild suction, microdermabrasion can leave your skin softer, smoother and fresher looking. This procedure has also been found to promote new collagen formation and helps soften lines, wrinkles and mild scarring.

Light Chemical Peels
This procedure done in conjunction with a microdermabrasion helps smooth and freshen the epidermis. Works well to help with oily, discolored or pigmented skin.

Botox®
A natural, purified protein produced by the botulinum bacterium that blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to muscles, thereby smoothing lines caused by repetitive muscular motion.

Juvèderm
Contains the body’s own natural material, hyaluronic acid. In the skin it creates volume, resulting in correction of superfcial wrinkles, notable around the mouth, forehead and smile lines. Juvèderm is also used for lip augmentation and to fill in nasolabial folds.
